Yet More Turks.

The last couple have weeks have been quiet, painting wise, but I have managed a small amount of painting. I picked up a small number of TAG Ottoman Turks to try them out, and I have been suitably impressed. Obviously they are not like Hinchliffe figures, but they do make fine commanders.

In an effort to not lose every game that I will fight with the Turks, I have started to pad them out with some extra Jannissaries, these are my first efforts. I decided not to go for the usual dark blue, but opted for a green, just to add a bit more colour to the army, as if it will need any.

Some more of John's rebased Ottoman's, including a bombard and some Azabs. Cannon fodder by any other name.

  1. Excellent stuff Robbie.

I agree mate, the TAG figures are lovely- my personal favourites are their Italians and Spanish though there are a lot of later Renaissance mini's that will be added to my collection at some point. At the moment, I'm (successfully!) managing to stick to my current projects but the TAG Italian Wars ranges are within that remit (for Fornovo) so i'd better be careful!! :>)
